Description
We are looking for LGV2 Drivers to work on a new long term contract.
A digital tachograph is required for all vehicles.
Working in a 2-man crew, your role will be to deliver flat pack furniture, kitchens and other household products to residential customers across the region.
You will working on a rota - 5 days out of 6 - Monday to Saturday. You must be available to work on Saturdays as these are busy delivery days and cannot be avoided.
Working from 6am through to finish each day on a guaranteed 48 hour rolling week. Overtime is paid after 48 hours worked.
You will be delivering up to 12 deliveries per day, and this will include heavy lifting of products and learning how to manoeuvre them into customers properties correctly.
Strong communication skills and customer service abilities essential as you will represent our Client on all deliveries and deal with Customers on a face to face basis.
This role requires a written and driving assessment to establish your suitability for the role. You will also require 2 days of training.
You must hold a current UK Class 2 licence and preferably have recent multi drop experience to residential customers.
